IDADD Mini Grants!

IDADD Offers a Mini Grant for students with autism and/or multiple and severe disabilities

Your IDADD Board is pleased to share information about the $350 mini-grant we are sponsoring.  The mini-grant is intended to support innovative instruction for students with autism and/or multiple and severe disabilities.  Applicants must be a member of CEC and the DADD subdivision and be currently teaching students with autism and/or multiple and severe disabilities ages 3 – 21.

The mini-grant proposal will include a rationale, how students with autism and/or multiple and severe disabilities will benefit, and a detailed budget of how the money will be spent.  The proposal rationale will be no longer than 500 words.  Proposals must be discussed with and supported by a building administrator.

The award recipient will be expected to share reflections about how use of this award supported innovative instruction for students with autism and/or multiple and severe disabilities and the impact of that innovative instruction.  The reflections presentation will take place at the IDADD subdivision meeting/luncheon at the 2018 Idaho CEC Conference.

Proposals are due by January 31st.  The online 2018 IDADD Mini-Grant Application is available at https://goo.gl/forms/36LwO6iBmSR0CU9i2. Mini-grant applications will undergo a blind review by the IDADD Board, with personally identifiable information redacted. The mini-grant will be awarded by February 28, 2018.
